Ben is an experienced professional with extensive experience in business development, credit analysis and management, branch operations and treasury operations. Ben was an Assistant General Manager with Diamond Bank Plc (Nov. 2008 – March 2011) and was responsible for the Bank’s business in seven states in the North Central Region of Nigeria comprising 18 branches. He coordinated all the business development activities and credit approval in the region and contributed to formulation of policy and strategy. He was part of the team that saw about the successful Private Placement of the bank in 2004, listing of the bank on the Nigerian Stock Exchange and initial public offering in 2005. He was also a member of the Management Credit Committee and Cost Management Committee of the bank.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Botany and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and is an alumnus of the Amsterdam Institute of Finance (Netherlands). He has also attended many management and leadership courses including the Senior Management Programme (SMP) at the prestigious Lagos Business School and Oil & Gas training at the Oxford Princeton, U.K. Ben has over 24 years of experience in the Banking, Financial Services, Business and Management Consulting, and also has interests in companies engaged in Agriculture, Energy, Oil & Gas, Construction and Real Estate.
