Charles Obidi Okoye holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Finance obtained from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi State and a Higher National Diploma (HND Finance – Best result in his graduating class) from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu State. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Institute of Directors (MIoD) Nigeria, Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria (ACS) and Chartered Member Institute of Securities & Investment (Chartered MCSI) UK. He has also attended numerous local and international courses on Leadership and General Management including but not limited to programmes at the prestigious Yale University, Connecticut; Columbia Business School, University of Columbia, New York (both in the United States of America) and the famous INSEAD, France where he trained under their Advanced Management Programme (AMP) and therefore an alumnus of the INSEAD Business School.
Charles has over 35 years of experience in the banking/Financial sector, acquired mainly from Zenith Bank Plc. (over 20 years) where he retired as Supervising Director/General Manager in April, 2012. Other Banks where he worked include First Bank Plc (2 years) and Metropolitan Merchant Bank (3 years) in addition to over 10 years with Royal Guaranty & Trust Ltd which he founded in 2012 as the Executive Vice-Chairman.
He also possess cognate experience in the Nigerian Capital Market as an Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX).
His vast experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Finance, Export financing, Branch/Zonal management, Capital Market Operations, and specifically Stockbroking business will be brought to bear as far as strategic decision making, is concerned in Sewa Assets Management Limited
